We are in need of a new set of classroom headphones for our students who are completing online courses. In my classroom, students complete credit attainment and credit recovery courses through an online platform. This requires a lot of seat-time in front of a computer screen with headphones on. Students need to wear headphones in order to listen to the instructor led videos in a way that does not disrupt the rest of the classroom.
We are in need of a new set of classroom headphones so that students can efficiently complete their online coursework needed for graduation.
Our high school building currently has a “No Personal Headphones” Policy in ALL classrooms order to prevent students from listening to personal music during teacher-led instruction. This means that students are not allowed to bring their personal headphones with them to class, nor can they be worn in any other areas of the school building. This policy is vital in keeping students focused on the teacher and engaged in the learning. With this policy in place, I need to be able to provide a functional and durable set of headphones for my students to use when in my classroom. Please help us, and help these students graduate!
