Most of my students come from a low income family with very little. This kitchen would provide them with interactive, imaginative play. Strong social skills allow students to learn in a more productive manner. Too many kindergarten students are getting the opportunity to play and to learn how to behave socially. We need to go back to the basics and give them a strong emotional foundation that will carry them for years to come. My students will learn how to interact with one another in a positive way through play. By donating this kitchen you will be providing my students with guided emotional positive play. Today’s children lack social skills and it is spilling over into our society. This isn’t the magic cure but it will definitely help.
