This space will make a difference for my students because they will have a calm and safe space to learn and take breaks. For students to learn, they must first feel safe. My goal for this project is to create an exceptional environment so the emotional needs of my students can be met. This will allow them to be successful in all other academic settings. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Sensory items allow students to explore their sensory needs and take breaks from learning as needed.
