My students will benefit from having a seating arrangement that is comfortable but conducive to learnIng through collaboration. If they are able to see each other during the course of a therapy session, they will also be able to learn from each other. Peer modeling is essential to develop solid communication, language and social competency. We will be able to play board games related to language and they will also be able to keep their eyes on me when needed. I love the idea that we can all see each other at a round table so that the nuances of Communication can be easily demonstrated.
