Each one of my students has a laptop to use every day. They listen to books, do activities, and play games on their own device.
Giving each student their own pair of headphones to use would allow them to work experience their learning through technology without any distractions. It will give them a chance to be an independent learner.
Headphones were listed on their school supply list but not all families were able to provide a pair to keep in school. Our school also did provide a class set of headphones with the foam ear coverings last school year but they are unable to replenish the set. Many of the current headphones are starting to break and it is difficult to sanitize and clean them due to the foam ear coverings.
