An interactive science notebook will allow the students to experience the life of a scientist when they're are making investigations, conducting observations, stating claims, gathering data, and explaining their reasoning. This will be a source for them to refer back to when having an interest in conducting scientific experiments outside of school and keeping all data and information organized.
The students will have to design their interactive science notebook to fit their personality: the notebook will become unique and identifiable for them. Having the notebook fit their personality and imagination will keep their interests in wanting to learn more about scientist and practice the skills of a scientist.
The students will design their notebooks using stencils, makers, and color pencils. This will benefit the students to create the notebook that fits their identity, which will keep their interests in wanting to perform the task of a scientist.
