Playing outside is what the kindergarten students look forward to the most, because it is the time to play with each other, be themselves, and choose what they want to do.
After speaking with my colleague, we noticed how much students need more playing equipment for outside.
These students have before school recess, morning recess, lunch recess, and snack/PE time. Brand new jump ropes, soccer balls, a basket ball hoop with basket balls, scooters and hola hoops would be fantastic additions to our playground.
These materials will make a difference because we have 53 energetic 5-year-olds eager to learn new activities. This will continue to build their social development and gross motor skills.
