We are a 1st grade public school in a low socioeconomic area. My classroom is amazingly diverse, which means some of my students have not yet mastered the English language. Because of this, they have more hurdles than most starting early on in life. It's my job to get them to not only love learning, but also get them prepared for their journey to and through college!
