In our classroom we have a large number of students that have a variety of different needs. One of the biggest needs we have, is having a place to gather for whole group instruction. The students will enjoy and would love to have a new reading carpet. Some students have a difficult time with being grouped up tightly during whole group teaching, and that affects their learning because they are struggling with not having enough room. With this carpet, it will provide the space students need to be engaged while providing calming materials for students who have sensory needs. This carpet will help keep the students more focused on their education and help them with their anxiety for longer periods of time.

About my class
