These journals will make a world of difference for any student. It will keep them organized and I will be able to see the growth in the students´ writing and penmanship. Penmanship is a lost art. The journals will carry on the Handwriting Without Tears format. Journals will be effective for student narrative, opinion, and informational writing. Last year, each student went through three journals. One was for opinion, one for narrative, and one for informational writing. Students were able to see the growth in their handwriting and writing skills. Also, with many special needs students with ADHD, it helps to use one style of writing paper. Handwriting Without Tears is the handwriting book our school uses. It only makes common sense to use Handwriting Without Tears Journals.
