My students love to explore all of the centers in my classroom but by far the favorite in our home living area. The students love to play and pretend to be mommy and daddy. They love to cook and serve food to everyone who visits our room. We often pretend to have birthday parties and serve the cake. The students gain important life and social skills by interacting with each other during pretend play. They get to use their imaginations to do activities they see moms and dads do every day. Students love to imitate what they see.
