These students want financial freedoms as soon as they can. This class gives them tools to put in their tool belt to help them achieve that goal. So many of my students come to my class without their materials for various reasons: slept at a different parent's house, not enough money to purchase them, forgot it because they closed at their job early this morning, had to sleep on someone's sofa because that was all that they had available, etc. I want to have materials available to them to use in class so that they do not fall behind.
Good personal finance strategies are something everyone can't afford to miss out on after high school. Everyone needs a chance to build their knowledge on how to financially handle their future.
