Stands are used to hold music in the band classroom. Every student who takes band class should have available equipment for the best experience! Music stands are ESSENTIAL equipment for any band class. It is also important that students and stands are a 1:1 ratio. Often students can share if they are in the same section and play the same part; however, each student having their own stand is more practical. Since band is offered 3 different periods for each grade (6-8) then these 12 stands will allow for each student to have their own stand during rehearsal.
Having stands in my band classroom will allow my students to feel like they are having a "real" band experience. Despite being a Title I school in a rural area, it should be our responsibility to provide students with the best all-around education, which includes providing essential equipment in their classrooms! Help support music education by filling my band classroom with music stands!
