At the 1st grade level, a lot of my students are still struggling to form letters correctly. Using even wide ruled paper is too small for them to write legibly. By using these books my students will be able to accurately express their ideas on paper while also being able to carefully place letters where they should go. Research shows that if students are able to write and express their ideas, that their performance in reading goes up. But if my students are getting frustrated because they are unable to express their ideas on normal notebook paper, then they will not receive that benefit. Please help my students to become not only amazing writers, but at the same time amazing readers.
