I work with a large number of "at-promise" students. I choose to say "at-promise" rather than "at-risk" students. My students are FULL of PROMISE and POTENTIAL! Some of my students come to school carrying many different emotions, feelings and concerns. Some students are able to freely express themselves while others have difficulty opening up. Through this art project, I hope to help students RELATE, REGULATE and RESOLVE their issues and concerns. It would be great to provide a group of students with a positive and peaceful environment to talk and share their feelings while creating a personal work of art.
