I have been teaching for only 9 months at this point, but even during such a short period of time, I realize how important it is for each student to have a voice in the classroom.
Unfortunately, some students simply do not feel comfortable expressing some of their ideas vocally, but this does not mean that they and their ideas should be marginalized! It is our job as educators to ensure that ALL of our students have an opportunity to make their ideas known publicly!
This project will ensure that students who don't feel comfortable vocalizing their ideas will still have the opportunity to make their knowledge public through colorful depictions, models, drawings, charts, tables, and really anything else that can serve as a visual aid.
