Throughout the year, students learn of life cycles, animal habitats and how animals adapt to survive. Being able to see these animals in person and what their habitat actually looks and feels like will help our students apply what is being taught in the classroom to the real world.
They will touch tide pools, stingrays, experience animals being fed, such as penguins and sharks. They will hear birds singing, bees buzzing and hear the whisper of a butterfly. Students will be able to watch 3D movies about animals lives underwater. Aquarium staff have hands-on experiences throughout the aquarium with different animals to touch and learn about.
