Children and teenagers are naturally curious and crave a stimulating environment to keep them engaged in their learning and brain development. For years, my art students, upon seeing our old ineffective kick style pottery wheels have begged me to show them how it’s done. Unfortunately, they become rapidly discouraged when the technology (so to speak) isn’t working for them. I would love to be able to give them the opportunity to learn a new craft that allows them to be both productive and creative, and well as generating excitement for their learning environment. Playing in the mid is good for your soul!
