As I am teaching my students these items will help my students gain the comfort to want to learn. If they have materials like flexible seating and flex bands on their seats this can help accommodate to their sensory needs so they can stay focused while working at a center rather than just wanting to run around because sitting on a regular chair for too long is uncomfortable. The students benefit from brain breaks throughout the day. Items like the painting and yoga cards can provide my students calming times and help soothe their needs while they are trying to learn along with their peers.
