During snack time, a good majority of my students do not have a snack to eat. Many of my first grade students cannot afford to bring a snack everyday from home to eat in class. I have been purchasing extra snacks for my students, but I do not have the extra funds to do so for much longer.
It is difficult to learn in class when you are thinking about food. I would love to have snacks available in my classroom for students that need a snack during our snack time. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank-you so much for your consideration!
