The Wilson Level 1 Certification Training will help me grow in my understanding of the Wilson Reading System. I will work one-on-one with a student to help them become more proficient readers. This training will help me provide systematic phonics instruction to my students. This training will take place during the school year and I will receive specific feedback from my instructor via Skype. My instructor will be there for support and feedback to help move the student forward in their learning and for me to grow in my understanding of the Wilson Reading System. This training will also allow me to help students year after year. I will also share my new knowledge with other teachers in my building using the Wilson Reading System.
