We live in a technological world, and I am so grateful my students are provided with a Chromebook in the classroom. It felt like Christmas morning when I told my students they have a personal computer for their classroom experience. The excitement on their faces is unmatched.
To ensure an individualized learning path for each student it is pertinent for them to be able to hear the information clearly. Headphones would help students be able to focus on their work. They will be able to discern what their computer is saying to them and not what their neighbors compute. My class uses programs named Reflex Math, Imagine Learning, and Scootpad. Reflex Math is a program to teach and practice addition and subtraction math facts. Scootpad gives students an opportunity to practice curriculum that has been taught in class. Imagine Learning helps ELL students with language skills and other skills with comprehension and grammar skills. All of these programs offer engaging lessons with a narrator the student needs to be able to hear. Technology will greatly enhance our classroom.
Please help "my kids" benefit the most from the opportunity of having technology in the classroom. Thank you so much!
