Truthfully, just 5 additional chromebooks will transform my classroom and the experience for my students.
Currently, I teach a computer science course to 150 awesome tenth graders in New Orleans, LA. I call us the Comp Sci Squad. Our technology of choice, of course, are chromebooks. Most students have a dedicated chromebook that is their's for the year. However, in EVERY class I teach there are students either whose chromebooks are hand-me-downs with malfunctioning keys or students who could not afford the nominal fee to procure their chromebooks and have had no technology for the entire year.
Adding just 5 chromebooks that would act as a classroom back-up set would effectively fill any gaps in technology in every class I teach.
