The availability of materials is a major issue in providing our students with the best possible educational support and opportunities. The books allow students to actively move through the material at their own pace, as well as, providing students the ability to take these books and continue their learning outside of the classroom. The students will need to pick apart the text and will continually refer to it as they examine larger sociological concepts. Social stratification, gender, oppression, media in society, and conformity are just some of the concepts that will be covered in a quarter-long project designed for student-led discovery through modern English literature.

About my class
