At a time when kids are spending even more time in front of screens, I feel it is even more important to get books in their hands to be used in book club and reading groups, where ideas can be shared and a love of reading can continue to be fostered. There is also the fact that a lot of our local and neighborhood libraries are still not open, and with kids not in school, so many have no access to real books or opportunities to share thinking with others.
