Now when the students enter our classroom, in the space where most classrooms have an easy to use and clean whiteboard, our classroom has a blackboard that is old, worn and has areas where it's unusable. This blackboard is in such bad condition that I can't write on it in some spots, most of the time I can't get the chalk to come off with just a standard ereaser and am often using lysol wipes to get it clean enough to continue using it throughout the day. More often than not, I end up using chard paper instead.
We are living in an age where manyclassroom are equipped with whiteboards. It is an interactive work space where a lot of our day is spent learning. It's a place where you'll often find me modelling lessons for the students, creating anchor charts, where students work on math problems in small groups, where I write the morning message and schedule. It's one of the centeral areas in our room. Please help.
