This project will increase the amount of books in my classroom library that students can read independently. This will allow for my students to have better access to books at school and at home. Many of my students do not have access to books at home and don't go to the public library, so in order for them to practice their reading skills they need to be provided with books at school.
This project will allow for a wider selection of books that will spark their love for reading. By developing a love for reading, students will increase their reading time and therefore develop their reading ability.
