Every child deserves a chance to learn and grow in a play-based kindergarten classroom. By providing my students with a new Dramatic Play kitchen and materials you will be opening the door to many new and exciting play opportunities. Play encourages social growth allowing students practice with important skills like sharing, taking turns, problem solving, and it encourages relationship building. It also helps develop language and communication skills providing students with the opportunity to talk and listen while at play. With our new materials we can encourage more imaginative play requiring students to use higher level thinking. Imagine the excitement and smiles on their faces, as our new kitchen is turned into a restaurant, grocery store or even a farmer's market. The possibilities for exploration and play are endless!
