This rug will help give my students a cohesive and non distracting place to learn about each other and meet for lessons. We currently have tape lines on the floor. These lines can be very distracting, as they are easy to pick at and play with.
Rugs are an essential part of the classroom experience! All of my memories as a student in k-5 revolve around a classroom rug. It is where the class can turn into a family. We will learn about each other in the safe bubbles provided by the squares, and not have to worry about where we are sitting! This rug would make a big, and much needed change in my classroom!
