My students are amazing! They come from different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds but when we are together, we are unified in one purpose. They love to sing, act, create. They take creative risks every day. Students lead out each class leading vocal warm-ups and helping one another excel. Building confidence, leadership skills and musicianship along the way. They give each other encouragement and are so kind to even those who struggle. They have a vibrant passion to learn and create. I always feel joyful when they walk in the room.
We are working hard to grow and improve together. In our classroom we learn by participating in choir, drama, and musical theatre curriculum. Many students do all three and really become examples to the others through their infectious enthusiasm.
