Collaboration is one of the most important lessons students in high school need to learn. In the real world or post-secondary world, young people need to know how to effective collaborate and work that others to accomplish a common goal. That's how I run my classroom and aim to accomplish with groups. My students work in groups and are forced to work together to solve problems, navigate complex solutions, and better their own team skills. Instructional time is the single greatest tool and more times than not, obstacle, in a teacher's daily classroom life. These towers will allow me, the educator, to maximize my classroom instructional time by being prompt and prepared. No longer will I have to walk the classroom and pass out papers to each individual group, it's in their group tower. Students won't have to get up and waste time getting supplies from around the classroom like scissors, rulers, and glue, it's in their tower. Students will be able to turn work into the tower and seamlessly ease jump into the lesson.
