Being able to give my students individual copies of text will help them with annotation and critical thinking when reading/writing informational text.
Students will use white board markers to respond to discussion questions in real time. Allowing for a quick formative assessment of student learning will help me to review and plan lessons that include valuable feedback.
Students also find activities such as whiteboards as a fun way to display what they know with out having to speak outload. Some students are shy, which causes their daily input to be less, using interactive active ways to get them involved will help to increase overall student learning.
