My students are in a small town school district with little funding availability. This purchase would assist them in reading comprehension and vocabulary development as they "listen" to the book being read to them and work collaboratively with others discussing the concepts and vocabulary presented there. My students come from disadvantaged homes and many of them will never be able to afford a device like this. Having these in my "toolkit" will assist me in reaching my struggling readers and help to make reading a fun activity they can actually enjoy!
