When students do not have outlets to express themselves in life, making art is one of the best ways to show how they feel. It helps them feel more like themselves when they have another medium to work on. In a school, student made art brings pride to each individual and brightens up the school when it is showcased.
Personal art in school shows confidence in each individual. When a student is drawing or coloring on a canvas, they are expressing what they are feeling at that moment and have no worries of what is going on around them. When students are walking down the hallway they will tell and show their peers what they have done and be proud of their accomplishment.
