Inclusion Works!
With a positive attitude, the belief that all children have something special to contribute, and supportive staff and materials we can make inclusion work for all! The hands-on materials requested allow all students to first learn at the concrete level, before moving to paper and pencil tasks. These materials also allow for teacher differentiation using the same materials all students are using.
The sensory and focus materials will help students to calm and maintain positive mental and physical states for optimal learning, and facilitates self-regulation.
Lastly, the teacher resource books will help to increase my own knowledge in a variety of areas to better support my students' learning, behavior and social/emotional happiness.
