Delivering instruction to so many students is easier with the use of technology by using YouTube tutorials or my own videos imbedded in PowerPoint lessons. They need a large screen TV used as a monitor, so they can view these lessons. As instructional videos progress, they can be stopped and/or replayed, so I can help those who do not understand. Each student can see the intricacies, rather than my very small hands doing something that not everyone can see. A big screen will help all students see what they need to do.
They will be able see the parts of their lessons that are videos about art, artists, or art history to help broaden their world views. Many times I read storybooks to younger students, with the challenge that everyone can not see the illustrations. With a large screen and my camera, everybody can see the words and the pictures. To help enrich the creative and developing minds of 2nd-5th grade students at our elementary school, please help me to provide a large screen TV to deliver successful and enriching art instruction!
