In my classroom, I have access to one yoga ball and one standing desk. As a first year teacher I find myself needing more of these materials. The yoga ball is used for one student to keep him from falling asleep during the mornings. However, I have two more students who would benefit from this yoga ball. One who constantly leans back, causing him to fall and jar his body against the hard floor. One who is constantly unable to focus, constantly watching into the world of her desk.
These students are just two examples of the 75 students this project would touch. Please join me in creating the best learning environment for my students.
