My students will be physically, and thereby attentively, available to learn the many communication skills needed in school and in life. The therapy materials will be used to stimulate growth in the many aspects of speech/language skills that are addressed in our sessions through the IEP or 504 Plan. These include, but are not limited to, articulation, vocabulary, language, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills. These tools teach speech sound production, words, stringing words together to form sentences, and how to use words to interact with peers and adults. Communication skills are the core of healthy human interactions. There is no more important time than right now to promote and enhance these critical skills for these future adults of our country.
