It is so important to engage students in their learning, and I want them to have choices on how they do it. These new iPads will be used during hands-on interactive activities during center time. I will upload apps that will help them practice skills such as: letters, letter sounds, counting, and number recognition. The majority of my students are from low-income households; they may not have access to computers, laptops, and iPads at home. As our world is becoming more technology-based, we will build on the twenty-first century skills that students need to be college and career ready.
It would be amazing to be able to have iPads in our classroom! I strive every day to provide my students with the best education I can give them!
