In our classroom, we explore classic texts, contemporary works, and student-chosen literature that reflects the world around us. We focus not just on reading and writing skills, but on critical thinking, empathy, and communication—tools that will serve my students far beyond the classroom walls.
Many of my students face challenges outside of school that can make learning more difficult. Despite this, they show up ready to engage and grow.
