These materials will make a difference in my classroom by providing the students with high-interest books that they can access and read both in the classroom and at home. My goal is to provide them access to books that they may not have at home and can return them once they are finished.
In addition, I know when I am reading, I like to be comfortable and I want to provide the students with optional seating. My students are ambitious, but need structured support to help them on their way to become fluent readers.
We have students from a wide variety of backgrounds that are learning the English language as well as students with various behavior and academic needs. We are looking to expand their attitude toward reading as well as their vocabulary and language skills.
