Having tablets in the classroom will allow my students to use technology to practice the skills we learn in class. One way that I will use the tablets is in stations. I will use academic applications to engage young learners in academic activities to reinforce literacy and math skills. The tablets will also support the language acquisition of my English language learners. They will benefit from watching videos and using applications that target decoding and vocabulary acquisition. My students will love to have access to these tools because they love technology and some of them don't have computers or tablets at home.
