The Epson Portable Document Camera will be used to display students' work with others in the classroom. This is extremely beneficial for scholars who don't just learn by listening orally. By providing this camera to my class, students will not only be able to learn orally, but visually and spatially as well. The camera's clear quality allows students to actually see real life examples of exemplary work, or what not to do. This camera also gives me the ability to show step by step directions, instead of just speaking aloud. This greatly increases their engagement and learning potential, which leads to more success in the classroom.
Providing multidimensional learning is important, because not everyone learns by just reading or writing; there are many different learning styles. By having a magnetic, digital timer on the white board at the front of the classroom, students are held accountable for their own time management on independent and group work. Working too fast or too slow can negate academic and social growth. So ensure scholars are utilizing their own education, this timer allows students to work productively and gain better practice with pacing.
