There are no water fountains in our building. We must walk across campus to get filtered water. We are currently a kindergarten/8th-9th grade campus. For kindergarten safety, students are only allowed to fill water bottles when leaving the cafeteria. Teachers sometimes freeze water from home to ensure they have water throughout the day. Students need to hydrate after recess and P.E. This cooler would be accessible to students with teacher supervision after exerting energy at recess. Some students do not bring water bottles and teachers are sharing personal stash to hydrate their class. We even fill gallon jugs to replenish water bottles when they are empty.
