My students will have beautiful tables that will stand out in the classroom. With these colored tables it will be easier for them to recognize group activities when teachers guide them through the classroom. My classroom has the youngest learners in the Los Angeles Unified School District. As of right now my students struggle to find their way through activities since the tables are brown. However with these color coded tables they can gain more independence by being able to navigate through the rooms activities on their own. My nonverbal students will be able to tell me which color table they would like work at instead of pointing because they don’t know how to describe the brown tables that all look alike.
