Reading connects and bridges a gap to scholars' background knowledge, interests, one another, and our community. Scholars grow to develop language skills through reading texts, signs, cooking, even body languages, and many more. Reading is everywhere! My scholars have a desire to learn from creative ways that grab their attention and peak their interests. Peaking a scholar's interest is more efficient when exposed to new ways of learning. Learning shouldn't be rigid, yet engaging. The overall goal is for my scholars to enter and finish in top highschools and colleges. Their learning is encouraged to go beyond the walls of their schools.
