Digital Cameras offer students the opportunity to explore the world around them on a digital platform. Through the use of editing apps, they can modify pictures for both educational and fun purposes, and use these for our school yearbook. Cameras would also allow students to help take photos for our classroom website, letting families see the everyday happenings of our art room. We can use them for self-portraits, collages, mixed media projects, and much more.
Dorothea Lange said, "The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera." I want to help students learn how to see the world around them in a fresh, new way, and to provide a deeper understanding of art techniques and art processes.
