Small group learning is so important in Kindergarten. Students learn at difference paces and have different learning styles. These materials will give my students different options for their learning that is easily differentiated.
For literacy, my students are learning letters and sounds, so they can start learning to read. These different types of letters (magnetics, stamps, tracing letters, etc.) allow my students to practice letters then later practice creating words with them.
Students also work in small groups for math. Dice, magnetic numbers, cubes, ten frames, and blocks help my students work actively on counting, adding, number recognition, and patterns.
