It is difficult for 4-6 years old to sit on a chair all day and be expected to enjoy learning.
I want my students to have the freedom to sit anywhere and make learning enjoyable by having their own space. They'll look forward to Guided Reading groups, and not to forget about intervention groups that they'll look forward to because they love how comfortable their seats will be. And last, but not least, for my ELD students who need that extra time and support.
Bean bags, balance balls, wobble stools will help keep the movement in my class as well as the learning.
