The materials we have chosen are geared towards teaching our students about independent living skills such as doing laundry, making a bed, cleaning a house or apartment. Things, that for many of us, are easy tasks. That is not always the case for our students. Our students benefit from a structured routine, a visual checklist and constant repetition to such tasks in order for them to be engrained in their daily lives. It is our hope that these materials will help us teach our students how to be as independent as possible after they graduate from high school. Help us help them become independent!
